Airbus received orders for 22 aircraft from SAS
The European consortium Airbus announced the agreement reached with the airline SAS for the supply of 22 aircraft. The decision, reached on the sidelines of the visit of President Chirac in Sweden, marking the end of the “duopoly” of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas in the supply of air to the Swedish company. The price of the contract has not been clarified but the cost price of the 22 aircraft is expected to exceed 2 billion dollars.
