Daimler, profits fall in first quarter
DaimlerChrysler reported a drop in operating profits in the first quarter. The carmaker has -3% up to 2.4 billion euros. The reason is due to strong competition present in the American market. The leadership of the group are convinced however that the strategic alliance with Mitsubishi Motors’ newly created company will strengthen. The title marks -0.73% at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
